Retirement Resort

If you drive along Maranui Street/Papamoa Beach Road, you will see Pacific Coast Village looking amazing with its newly built villas and more going up.

Official Opening

Over 225 invited guests attended the official opening of Pacific Coast Village held on 7 May 2010. The opening was held under a large marquee on the area where the first two level apartment block is to be constructed. The Hon Tony Ryall officially opened the Village with able assistance from Judy Bailey the Pacific Coast Ambassador, Kevin Haua the Chairman of the Partnership Board of Directors and Graham Wilkinson, the Director of Retirement Assets Ltd.

Gillian Buckley, one of the first residents, also spoke about the transiton that she and husband Colin had made from their home in New Plymouth to villa 3 Pacific Coast Village. Gillian emphasised that she and Colin were particularly appreciative of the positive liaison they established with the Project Management team prior to moving into their villa.

The guests took the opportunity to view the show home and were impressed with the high standard of workmanship and design. The tropical landscape theme also received favourable comment from guests.

The Showhome is open daily Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Stage Two Development

Contracts have now been received on all available villas in stage one. Due to the level of interest shown the construction of stage two development is to commence immediately. While some contracts have already been received for the stage two development, if you wish to make an early application contact Mike Flattery, the Manager on 07 572 3029.

Security

At Pacific Coast Village security and the well-being of residents is paramount. At present, a nurse call, emergency and smoke alarm systems have been installed in all villas. This is monitored 24 hours a day by Tunstal in Tauranga who dispatch emergency services as required.

The main gate closes after 6:30pm daily and residents are issued a disc to allow entry. A neighbour watch group will also be established within the village making Pacific Coast Village a very safe environment to reside in.
