Mangatawa Wetlands

Off Truman Lane, there is a road that leads to an extensive wetlands area which Mangatawa was instrumental in developing following the closure of the Te Maunga Rubbish Dump in that area.

Nowadays, the wetlands area is well-planted with a wide variety of native plants that run along grass and gravel pathways which meander around a number of waterways.

Mangatawa contracts to the Tauranga City Council to ensure the wetlands are well-maintained.
